Yellow roses were Louise Hay’s favourite. I always buy yellow roses for my workshops or other events to honour the women who shared her messages of love with the world. Within these dozen roses, I noticed one had a red tinge on a few peddles. My initial thought was, “the rose is flawed.”

At 12 years old, I started to feel pain behind my teeth. The dentist had no idea why I was having pain. I had no cavities. It wasn’t until I was 25 that I found a doctor/dentist that could pinpoint the issue.

I had many sore throats wherein the medical profession decided that removing my tonsils would be the cure. It wasn’t.

This week, I twisted my ankle and fell. Twenty-four hours later – I stopped and asked what message my ankle had for me. Here is what I heard:

Louise Hay teaches about being enough. She tells us to look into a mirror and say;“I am enough”.

I desired a relationship with my mom, to have conversations and become best friends. I resented my mom for many years.

Last week I was featured on my favourite podcast, "Heal Your Life Talk Radio Show with Victoria Johnson".

Words consist of vibration and sound. It is these vibrations that create the very reality that surrounds us.

I have always been a planner. I would anticipate the outcome, put on my blinders and forge on with my day.

Louise Hay teaches mirror work. She tells us to look into the mirror and say “I love you, I really really love you”. 

After suffering physically for many years with obscure, odd and undiagnosable symptoms I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.

I am a truth seeker who looks at all things with wonder and discerns where the truth is in every situation. Through the vibrational frequencies or energy, I feel the words that are spoken. When harsh words are spoken, they come to me in waves and go through my whole being. Harsh words create an emotional reaction. I may become scared, defensive or judge myself. I stop and think how is this mirroring what I don’t like about myself. Or realize those words are not my issue.
