Pain or Sensation or….?

We all experience pain differently. Pain is invisible at times, however, is it real and that’s because we feel it. The doctors can’t always determine why we have pain. They have even given us a pain scale of 1-10. X-rays, Cat Scans, blood tests, may determine there is something wrong physically and there may even be a diagnosis. However, what is the underlying cause of the dis-ease?

The cause of pain is expressed in our bodies differently and comes from different sources. Pain exists for a reason. It is a way for our bodies to tell us something is wrong.

How do we determine if the pain is physical or emotional?

There is physical pain when our bodies have experienced physical trauma, such as a car accident or a fall. What brought you to this point of physical trauma. What thoughts, beliefs and actions brought you to the point in time where you sustained a physical injury.

  • Who were you looking at, at the time of injury?

  • What were you doing at the time of the injury?

  • Where were you when the injury happened?

  • What were your expectations of the circumstances when the injury occurred?

When we stuff or ignore our hurts or fears, these emotional experiences become stuck in our bodies. When we don’t acknowledge our feelings and release these emotions from our body, the emotional pain causes physical pain and dis-ease. How many times have you, a friend or family member gone to a doctor without any conclusive diagnoses?

Our thoughts and our expectations about the outcome of our genetics determine that we are going to get cancer or have heart disease. Our bodies don’t disappoint, they go along with our beliefs and manifest this outcome.

We can change the expression of our genes.
— Dr. Bruce Lipton

Our bodies give us messages every day. It is important to stop and listen. Ask the area where you feel the pain or sensation. What message do you have for me?

Our beliefs come from what we hear and from what we are taught. These create our thoughts and our thoughts produce words. Words have power. The power to create healthiness or illness or hurt or make you and those around feel good, happy or sad.

Be very careful when you’re thinking or speaking about your body, because your body does not know the difference between a positive or negative thought, or a positive or negative word. It will give you exactly what you have told it to be.

Creating healthiness is when we support our bodies, praise our bodies and belief our bodies will remain healthy in all things and all ways.

I will not deny that I have had my share of pain, from trauma and emotional stuffing. I believe holistically we need physicians to be part of our treatment regime. The bible says we can heal ourselves. I appreciate learning from pain, physically and emotionally. It has taught me so much!

It is my deepest desire that others will recognize they also have emotional pain that has manifested physically. That our bodies show us triggers and make us aware of the emotions we have been buried deep within us. To gain an understanding of the importance of the Mind/Body Connection.
